This page explains what data this site collects and why. It is a starting point — review and adapt it before relying on it, and revisit it whenever you add a new third-party service.

Who runs this site

Sciode is a personal blog. For any question about this policy, or to ask what data is held about you, contact us through the profile links in the sidebar.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics (loaded through Google Tag Manager) to understand which posts people find useful.

Google Consent Mode is configured so that analytics and advertising storage default to “denied”. Until you explicitly consent, no analytics cookies or advertising identifiers are stored in your browser; Google receives only aggregated, cookieless signals. If a consent banner is shown and you accept, Google Analytics then operates with its normal cookies.

Site search is provided by Google Programmable Search. When you use it, your query is sent to Google and is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.

Comments

Comments are powered by giscus, which stores them as GitHub Discussions in this site’s repository. To comment you sign in with GitHub, and your GitHub username and avatar become publicly visible alongside your comment. Reading the page without commenting does not require an account.

Fonts and icons

Icon fonts are served from this site’s own domain. The “Nanum Gothic” webfont, used for Korean text, is loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the request as part of delivering the font.

Your choices

You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time; the site remains fully readable without them. Where a consent banner is presented, you can change your choice through that banner.
